Introductions

Hi! Let me introduce myself. My name is Ellen. I was born and raised in Fox Valley, Wisconsin. This is also where I reside today. Never moved too far from here and I have no plans to. Let’s just say I have been blessed with a great big beautiful family that I couldn’t part with. I am one of 10 children (all from the same mom and dad.) My siblings are my best friends. I have been married to my husband for 15 years and we’ve been together for 22, (yikes I still can’t believe our high school dreams came true.) We have three miracles, Aleah (11), Caleb (9), and Levi (5). It won’t take you long to figure out that I live my life for the Lord, I accepted Him in my heart at the young age of 7 and I don’t know where I would be without Him. I plan to use this space to share my passions with you; style, writing, reading and friendships. I believe the Lord gifted me with the ability to encourage others, to be a friend to many. This space is intended be a place you can stop for some light in your life. I’ll be keeping it real my friend, life isn’t a walk in the park. Buuut we most certainly can choose our perspective. I am committed to speaking truth, both the uncomfortable and pleasant. I’ve experienced a number of hardships in my life, as I know you have too. Let’s talk about them. Let’s normalize the issues that people don’t talk about. You are not alone! I’m so glad you are here, please feel free to ask any questions along the way.
